PROCEDURE

Students whose degrees will not be posted will be notified in a number of ways:

  1. Beginning December 2004, an e-mail will be sent to those students with financial obligations who have applied for graduation. This message will notify the students of their financial obligation and the withholding of their degree. Contact information for Student Financial Collections will also be included. This message will be sent each semester to those students who have applied for graduation by the Registrar

  2. Beginning in January 2005, a hard copy letter will be sent to the students' permanent address if they have not resolved their obligation.

Colleges will receive information regarding which students in their college are having their degree withheld via the report entitled, Discontinued Students Reports. A Degree Pending report is still in production.
