The definition section of this policy contains a definition of mission critical functions. In the past operational recovery was first closely linked with computer applications. Certainly they are of major importance in operational continuity but they are not the only thing.
Equally important are processes that may or may not involve computer applications, but have other important components like specialized equipment, buildings, data networks.
To help identify critical functions that you are responsible for, we have included a link to a University site that identifies many of the University processes and applications. This may be of assistance in identifying critical functions that you are responsible for.
